Financial Planning

Meeting your financial goals begins with an in depth analysis of your current financial situation.  Your personalized written plan contains comprehensive strategies designed to help prepare for a multitude of important situations throughout life.
Each plan may address any or all of these primary planning areas:

  • Financial Position:  What are your future goals?  How are you tracking your expenses?  In-depth analysis of your current cash flow, budget and net worth.

  • Investment Planning: What is your risk tolerance?  Portfolio management and strategies for your goals. Review of your employer-sponsored assets such as 401(k) plans, 403(b) plans, Employee Stock Purchase Plans, and stock option programs.

  • Tax Planning: Are you utilizing the appropriate tax strategies?  Do you need us to work with your tax advisor?

  • Education Funding:  How much do you need to save from K-12 and post-secondary schooling?   Helping make sure your children or grandchildren are well prepared.

  • Risk Management: Are you covered for what's important to you?  Are you covered enough or too much?  Insurance needs for disability, long term care, and life.  Analysis of employee benefits.

  • Retirement Planning: What are your retirement goals?  Will you have enough money to maintain your lifestyle?  Developing suitable goals and creating effective strategies.

  • Accumulation Planning:  How much do you need and when will you need it? Establish funding strategies for specific milestones or goals such as a home purchase, car purchase, emergency fund, or vacation fund.

  • Estate Planning Strategies: Your legacy--where will your money go when you are gone? How much in death taxes will your family have to pay?  Advice about estate tax planning, charitable giving and wealth transfer as a precursor to consulting your attorney.

After the creation of a personalized plan, meetings are set depending on your needs. During these meetings, strategies from your plan are implemented and monitored to help you stay on track towards meeting your goals.  I offer guidance and support, and believe that financial planning is a lifetime relationship, not a one-time event.
